1989 - George H.W. Bush landed in a helicopter at Rancho del Rio for a national press conference

​1991 - Girl Scouts of Orange County purchased the ranch as a retreat for camps

2014 - Local group purchased Rancho del Rio as a family retreat and wedding & event venue

2016 - After 2 years of improvements, Rancho del Rio opened to the public as an event venue
